Let us introduce our staff to you….
Jean Metcalf — retired store manager
Jean was with Heartfelt for many years until retiring in May of 2021. She can now be found filling in when Pat & Tom are away or any time we need her to help out in the store.
Katie Knight — Has been with us for since 2005.
Katie was originally from Colorado, and settled in Florida in 1988. She was an over the road truck driver and screen printer in her past employment. She is widowed and has a daughter Stacy and 2 granddaughters.
Katie has been sewing and quilting for over 20 years.
At Heartfelt, Katie can be found most often at the cutting tables. She is a familiar face to most of our long-time customers. If you come in looking for fabric you have previously purchased Katie is your go to, because she typically knows where that fabric is or if its sold out.
Amy Cummings — has been with us since February of 2021
Amy comes to us from Watertown, NY where she spent 25 years as a 911 dispatcher. She and her husband Todd made Central Florida their winter home in January of 2020. Amy and Todd share 3 children, Kayla, Jared and Vi and 5 very spoiled grandchildren and 4 granddogs.
Amy has been sewing and quilting for 20 plus years. Over the past couple of years she has graduated to long-arm quilting and most recently machine embroidery. She hopes to keep perfecting her craft in both and to continue sharing her knowledge with customers and friends in the future.
At, Heartfelt, Amy can be found doing bookwork, assisting on the sales floor, overseeing the once a month Embroidery Sit-n-Sew and quilting on the long-arms.
Dawn Ewing — has been with us since May of 2021.
At Heartfelt, Dawn can be found assisting customers and has also assisted with out Tuesday afternoon workshop and beginning quilting.
Pam Beasey — has been with us since Sept of 2021.
Pam comes to us from her homestate of Indiana. She relocated to Florida in 2010 with her husband Mark. Together, they share 6 children Tracie, Scott, Michael, Chris, Glenn and Brad, as well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pam previuously worked in the mortgage/title business for 15 years and worked 8 years for Kohls before retiring in 2018.
Pam has been sewing for most of her life. She started quilting about 16 years ago. She was around quilting most of her life, as her mom and aunt were quilters.
At Heartfelt, Pam can be found at the cutting tables, at the register or assisting customers. She has also assisted with Tuesday afternoon workshop and beginning quilting.
Gina Smith — has been with us since February of 2022.
Gina came to Florida in 1980 from her homestate of California. She and her husband Darryl have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and their dog “Zoey” and cat “Binx”. Gina worked in the nursing field for over 30 years, as a registered nurse for the last 13years before retiring.
Gina is an avid sewist and crafter, and most recently a beginning quilter. Her passion is to help people find joy through sewing.
At Heartfelt, Gina can be found assisting customers with their machines, at the cutting table, or at the register.
Jill Fleming — has been with us since October of 2022
Jill is from Florida and worked in Ophthalmology for 40 years, while traveling with her family as an Airforce wife. She is married to Paul, and they have a son, Aaron and daughter, Becca. They also have 4 grandchildren with a 5th on the way.
Jill has been quilting on and off for 40 years while traveling the USA. She is happy to be settled back in her home state of Florida. She is excited to learn new skills and techniques that she will be able to share with customers.
Dana Elmore — was with us Feb 2014 to Sept 2022 and is now enjoying the retired life!
Dana was born in Jacksonville, FL. She spent 28 years working as a Pharmacist in Winter Haven. She is married to her wonderful husband, RIchard who grew up in Winter Haven and they have 2 boys, Nicholas and Philip and 2 dogs and 1 cat. She and her family spent much of their free time at the Kingsley Lk retreat, near Middleburg, FL. Dana also enjoys traveling the world (Central America, Europe, and Africa) and looking for ideas for her next quilt.
Dana also has 2 sisters and a brother.
Dana learned to sew at the age of 10, sewing Christmas ornaments that are still used today. Dana also painted and did embroidery while developing her skills for sewing. She has sewn her own dresses as well as quilting. Dana has quilted quilts for most of her siblings, nieces, nephew, kids, and friends. Dana also enjoys working in the yard, hiking, reading and volunteer work, which she continues to do one day a week.
At Heartfelt, Dana is most often found binding our store samples and chatting with the many customers she has gotten to know through the years.
