Walk your way to beautiful quilts! Create your own walking foot quilting portfolio of examples, ideas, and techniques to quilt your own quilts at home on your domestic sewing machine with a walking foot. **Book purchase is required, if you don’t already have it.** A supply list will be provided prior to class date.

Prostitcher Basics – w/Tom Roberts and virtual HQ educator – $25 – Wed, Nov 30, 2022 from 10:30 to 3:30

Learn the basics of Pro-stitcher and be on your way to beautiful machine quilted projects. It is highly recommended that you bring a laptop to utilize Pro-stitcher simulator. Bring a lunch, as one will not be provided.

Fabulous free motion with Eric Drexler — this will be a fun filled 6 hours of free motion quilting. You will be required to purchase a kit for $20.

This tote features plenty of exterior pockets, is fully lined and has boxed bottom construction. Approximate finished size is 22.5″ W x 18.25″ H. Have this great bag finished in time to give as a Christmas gift or to carry your Christmas gifts. Cutting and fusing must be done prior to class to allow amplt time for construction. Pick up class information sheet prior to class.

Welcome to Finishing School! Learn how to face your quilt, create a faux-flanged binding (no hand sewing required), add a quilt sleeve, and other professional finishing touches for your fabulous quilts. Remember there is more than one way to finish those edges!

Didi Salvatierra’s “Spontaneous Stars Quilt” w/Susan Skuda — $60 includes lunch and pattern (design inspired by Gwen Marston’s Liberated Stars)

This technique is fun, fast, and always a surprise! There are no templates and scraps are welcome. Easy to piece and then just “watch the stars come out”.
